My second gripe is with the game's visuals. Traps SFX are very tame in comparisson to the original DD and it gives you this weird mismatch between what you see on the screen (you hero being heavily stressed out and/or damaged, screen shaking and so on) and the sound that is very lacking.

There are moments of silence when you are exploring dungeons and it feels very empty, there is often no music and it feels like the narrator tunes in less often than in original game. However, there are things that I find lacking in terms of their visual or audio design or straight up don't like. As many have mentioned before the mod is very well done, the narrator perfectly reflects the atmosphere of the sandy forgotten land filled with artifact and treasures, and the overall setting is quite interesting.
